While 16 teams are participating in the men’s category, 7 teams
will participate in the women’s category.The prize money for men's team:
2 Crore for Winner, Rs. 1 Crore for runners-Up and Rs. 51 Lakh for the
Third Position and For Women's Team: 51 Lakh for the winner, 31 Lakh for
the runners-up. Men’s Section: India, England, Afghanistan, Denmark,
Canada, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Norway, Pakistan, Sierra Leone,
Scotland, Argentina, Italy, Iran, Kenya and USA has given their consent
to participate in the Kabaddi World Cup 2012.
In the women’s section India, Canada, Denmark, England, Turkmenistan,
USA and Malaysia has given their consent to participate in the
tournament However, no decision has been taken on who will be performing
